Biodynamic farming practices are the cornerstone of our dairy enterprise. Our focus is on producing high quality milk from healthy, happy cows grazing on delicious biodiverse pastures. Our cheesemakers work with the people we support to produce a delicious range of award-winning organic cheeses, yoghurt, and milk in glass bottles.

Danbo
Danbo is our signature cheese, made from an old Danish recipe, is deliciously creamy and mild. It is also available in Cumin and Fenugreek flavours.

Mozzarella is a fresh cheese. When the curd has reached the desired acidity, mozzarella is heated and then formed into a round ball by hand. Our Hōhepa mozzarella is made in the traditional way, resulting in a cheese of springy, stretchy texture, with a milky, nutty flavour.

Feta is traditionally made in Greece from goat and sheep’s milk, but also commonly now made from cow’s milk in many countries. Our Hōhepa feta is handmade using traditional methods resulting in an easy to crumble, mildly-salted product, with a creamy texture.

Quark
Quark is a soft fresh white cheese, with a fine texture and low fat content. Quark is uniquely different than cottage cheese or cream cheese, with a delicate, mild, and creamy flavour making it suitable for use in both sweet and savoury dishes.
Herb Quark
Our herb quark is a wonderful variation of our Quark. Creamy with aromatic fresh garden herbs, it can be used as a dip or perfect with savoury and seafood dishes.

Our lemon quark is a wonderful variation of our Quark. Creamy with sweet hints of lemon curd, this is a decadent addition to dessert.

Natural Yoghurt
Organic and probiotic, Hōhepa's natural yoghurt is made in the traditional way, without the use of fillers or stabilisers – just fresh cow’s milk and the required added cultures. Made from completely natural ingredients, the end result is a smooth, creamy product with mild flavours and balanced clean finish on the palate.
Greek Yoghurt
Organic and probiotic, Hōhepa's greek yoghurt is a thick, creamy yoghurt made in the traditional way as a pot set yoghurt, without the use of added protein, fat, or thickening agents. Rich and creamy, and perfectly balanced with a hint of lemon.
Milk
Milk
Our biodynamic pasteurised milk reflects the passion, care, and aroha we put into each and every bottle we make. It is bottled in returnable and reusable glass bottles.
